Introducing LESIA
Lately I have had quite different work experience that was connected with the usage of foreign languages. The greatest experience and practice that I received in customer support, had influenced the development of not only communicative skills, but also auditory skills. I worked in 2 companies (Israeli and Austrian companies). In the first company I used mainly English. In the second - German. The basic responsibilities were almost similar to each other: 1. keeping correspondence with clients and Israeli executives by mail and Skype;
2. reception of calls, support of clients in their requests;
3. entering online chats
4. conducting psychological trainings in English and German
Also I worked at home. I was engaged in translations of the web-site about Forex from English on German. It has greatly enriched my vocabulary.
Some time I worked like translator in marriage agency. I attended private meetings and conducted correspondence online. The main goal was to introduce 2 young people with each other from different parts of the world.
Of course, I think it's never necessary to stop and go only forward because knowledge of foreign languages is a good investment in your future.
Like amateur, but I want to improve my guide skills in the future! I made some excursions to foreigners who found me accidentally through friends. As communication in English and German brings me only pleasure, I did not refuse. I talked about the historical places of Kiev in enough detail, did some breaks, so that guests could deliciously eat the capital food. My excursion lasted from about 4 to 6 hours. I think that this is a good way to practice/improve your language skills, expand your horizons and make new acquaintances.
