Climate and weather in Ukraine

Climate in Ukraine varies across the country: as warmer as closer to the East-South.  Ideal weather and timing for visiting Ukraine is mid-April till the end of June when everything is in bloom and the temperature isn't too high. At the begining of autumn, in September and early October when the weather is mild and the leaves are changing it is good time for traveling across Ukraine as well while summer is hot and dry and too exhausting for travelers.

In July, the hottest month, visitors should be sure not to miss the popular Kiev beach clubs which are either by the river side or in the forests, with food, chez long and beach volleyball courts.
During July and August, in the height of summer, Kiev can experience thunderstorms and brief downpours accompanying the warmer weather.
By October and November rainfall increases before the cooler temperatures bring the winter snow. Snow is frequent from mid-November through March before giving way to warmer spring temperatures.

Kiev experiences moderately cold winters (average min: -6℃, 21℉) and enjoys warm summers (average  max:  25℃, 78℉). Usually it feels like a very hot summer and high humidity and extremely cold winter with lots of wind, snow and -15℃/5℉.
